slander - device b/w flood

Everyone's favorite female fronted high energy band is back with a new single, device b/w flood! Slander pack even more punch in these two new songs!

Device starts out creepy and sluggish but picks up its pace just in time to be joined by vocalist Julia Farrar who delivers more melody without sacrificing the attitude which make her vocals so affecting. All around a solid single (having a video like the one they made certainly helps, I am sure!).

Flood features dual male and female octave vocals that work really well in the context they are presented in. The chorus melodies are rich and warm and reach a new level of pop sensibility for this band. All this while maintaining the same cutting edge as their last single.


Clearly there's no stopping Slander. Keep your ears peeled for more from this band!!!
