Herff Jones is playing the El N' Gee Saturday 6/2 with Fins, Native MODE and The Grey Rambler. This is sure to be a weird show, so you don't want to miss it!
From one corner of the state to another. This night promises to be one of strange combinations and surprising eerily related sounds.
SAT 6/2 @ 8PM / $5
Here is the breakdown:
HERFF JONES
From their BIO: Formed in the fall of 2010, we are a five-piece ranging in age from 19 to 21. Though we are pressed to label ourselves “rock”, our songs are determined only by duende, allowing us to move freely through method and mood in an attempt to develop a unique sound. Having cultivated a following among the local public and press and completed a five track demo that we are proud of, Herff Jones is ready to move forward.
FINS
Fins stalk wolves in the night. They are champions and heros. Don't get to close as they may bite!
"Several senses were overloaded" - Jerry Crawfish
NATIVE MODE
Native Mode are a song think tank. They embelish and re-imagine genre conventions. They blend and isolate. In this period Native Mode sounds a bit folky with blasts of noise and dance.
"EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE!" - Winston Mayberry
(facebook / soundcloud)
THE GREY RAMBLER - Has to be seen to believed, but the safety issue with that is the thunder this band brings could crack your skull. You are advised to wear a helmet.
"I was pulled from my seat and hamstrung" - Captain Ralph
"I love him more than anything" - My Uncle Stan
Here is a chance to see a lineup combo unlike one you may ever see again.
