Titus Andronicus is an indie rock band from Glen Rock, New Jersey formed in 2005. The group takes its name from the Shakespeare play Titus Andronicus. Their debut album, The Airing of Grievances has received widespread acclaim. The album's loud, heavily distorted guitars are influenced greatly by shoegaze while the lyrics and song titles are references to various books and other forms of entertainment (such as the album title, from the Seinfeld episode, "The Strike", about Festivus).

The Babies
The small, incestuous circle of Brooklyn lo-fi bands currently setting the world on fire just got a little smaller and a little more incestuous. Vivian Girls frontwoman Cassie Ramone has teamed up with Woods bassist Kevin Morby and Justin Sullivan, drummer for Brooklyn band Bossy. Together, the members of the new trio are tentatively calling themselves the Babies.

My Heart to Joy is an indie-rock band based out of Kensington, Connecticut. The band formed in early 2006 from the duo of Ryan Nelson (Guitar, Vocals) and Alan Huck (Drums) and has since extended to include Greg Horbal (Guitar) and Christopher Teti (Bass Guitar). Shifting from their early beginnings as a chaotic, hardcore punk band, My Heart to Joy mixes 90’s indie rock leanings of bands like Guided by Voices and Superchunk with a more driving punk sound that has garnered them comparisons to bands such as At the Drive-In, The Trail Of Dead, Braid and Bear vs. Shark. After self funding several releases, the band released their first full length, Seasons in Verse, in the Spring of 2009 (Topshelf, Asbestos).
