Man,
Twin Lakes Records have been killing it lately. The New Haven based label has released the excellent
Closely Watched Trains album, and recently added Australia's own
Electric Jellyfish to their roster, with an excellent digital EP avaliable for download.

They've just released some new songs by
MYTY KONKEROR. It's a virtual 7-inch titled Vastare, which features two songs from their soon to be released "I Miss the Future." It's available for free until the new album drops in late May/early June. "Vastare" starts off with a some nice early-Sabbath guitarwork, sure it's heavy, but not overly so. There's a lot of squealing tremelo guitar riffs, and weird noises buried deep in the mix. The second song, "Kidz and Gulls," sounds more like something that would be more at home on a Soundgarden album, I really dig it. The whole 7" is a spaced-out voyage that you don't wanna miss. You can download it for free over at
Twin Lakes' website.
MYTY KONKEROR will also be playing with Electric Jellyfish on April 12th in Brooklyn @ Death by Audio, with the fantastic garage/blues rockers
The Class Machine.
