"Champaign, Illinois' Elsinore opened the show with a pretty flawless set of power-pop and space-rock. Singer Ryan Groff has a faultless falsetto and hair-metal pipes, and he puts them to good use on his band's kinetic, catchy songs. I already had him pegged as a less-mousy Ben Gibbard, and the balls-out cover of the Postal Service's "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight" sealed the deal. Elsinore just wrapped up the recording of its next disc Yes Yes Yes, and if the dance-heavy title track is any indication, it should be stellar." By Christian Schaeffer, blogs.riverfronttimes.com
Dr. Rocktopus and The Nunks (Guilford; an odd combination of loud rock, huge drums and horns — maybe that's why they have a song called "Unusual Anthem") – Hartford Advocate
Krispy and The Skinny Kids (Guilford; poppy but earnest punk/metal with solid lead guitar skillz and '80s metal vibe) – The New Haven Advocate
We Landed On The Moon – "if you like super energetic, angsty 1980s-style tunes about failed love affairs and unsatisfactory men, this is your ticket." Pop Matters
Art Decade - Since being established by a bright-eyed, teenage Ben, Art Decade has been a rapidly evolving tribe of musical men. The trio consisting of Binod Kumar Singh, Benjamin Zachary Michael Talmi, and Chad David Montermini proves to be a young incarnation, but a spritely one at that. Since we've come together in February, we've played all over the northeast, devised fanciful yet functional marketing plans, conducted long, blister-inducing rehearsals, and most notably – wrote and recorded an Ep, entitled 'Royalty'.
The Coda Infinity is a new band from Brookfield, CT.
